Nothing is more painful than doing business paperwork. Whether you do it using an old-fashioned spreadsheet, or spend hours trying to navigate archaic desktop software, there’s a modern solution that’s easy to use, affordable and backed up online, in the Cloud.

FreshBooks is the cloud accounting solution that’s helping millions of small business owners save time and get paid faster. It allows you to track your time, invoice your clients and manage your expenses. Now with mobile apps (Android, iPhone and iPad), you can take your business management on the go like never before.

Creating an account is very fast and easy, no credit card is required and you also benefit from a free 30-day trial so you can give all the features a spin and decide which package is best for your biz. If you only have 3 clients or less, you can stick with the free plan and only pay once your business grows. The paid plans start at $19.95 per month (for a maximum of 25 clients), and go up to $39.95 if you’ll need team reporting and project management options.

FreshBooks started out as an invoicing service, but eventually evolved into a solid accounting solution that’s used by millions worldwide. FreshBooks adds new features for users constantly, and all your data is safely backed up in the Cloud by people who get you and your business.

freshbooks key features

For bloggers, designers, freelancers and other service-based businesses, FreshBooks is the best choice to get your business looking professional in a snap.

When it comes to integrating with other tools you might use, FreshBooks supports plenty of add-ons including Wufoo, Mailchimp, Stripe, Zen Payroll, Capsule and Paypal and more.

Invoicing is as easy as it gets – all you have to do is add in your client’s details, and the platform does the work for you. A classy touch is that you can send invoices via “snail mail” for the cost of a stamp in the case your clients prefer a physical invoice over email.

With FreshBooks new apps for iOS and Android, you can take your business on the go. I’ve been known to lose important business receipts so my favorite feature of their iPhone app is being able to snap a photo of my receipts and upload it to my FreshBooks account in seconds.

All in all, FreshBooks is a modern tool that will play a key role in helping you get organized and get paid. With it being cost-effective and easy to use, I highly recommend it to small business owners, especially designers, consultants and freelancers. Try it free for 30 days by going to FreshBooks.com

Hi Naveed,

Yes, Freshbooks is a great tool, but too expensive for the average self-employed. I prefer Nutcache. It’s packed with the all the same features as Freshbooks, but Nutcache is completely free! Well worth giving it a try!

Regards,

Mark
